mic-mic

i’ve been meaning to post about our magnificent little furbabies, but Froggy beat me to it (and in a much more eloquent way than i ever could have managed). this picture is of my sweet little mikmik and little sun (cleverly disguised as my six-months-pregnant belly). she spent much of my pregnancy on or wrapped around him.

look how he used to respond to her. love was already there.

i think she misses him, too.

love

Ah. I didn’t know you had a blog. I have been thinking about you all often recently–we’ve had a lot of loss in my family this week, and anniversaries of earlier losses, too. I keep thinking back over this past year and how very hard it has been. Love to you all.

Every so often I go to clean up my blogroll and realize how many people have stopped writing. Then I usually go on a little trip down the rabbit hole of other peoples’ blogrolls to see who is new, which takes me all over the place. It’s fun, if overwhelming (I think I have 50 new blogs to check out or something crazy). I’m excited to see you, too! And happy to see you are able to TTC your next baby sooner than later. I hope it happens quickly for you–my cousins are expecting again after losing their little girl shortly after birth, and I think it has been healing for them. I’ll be following along! :)

Awww, she’s beautiful! OH and I always hoped that our cat would do that when I was pregnant… maybe she’ll still get a chance.

Thanks for introducing me to Froggy’s blog too. :)
